Built in Vancouver · For BC contractors and corporations pricing major civil work

Faster, more accurate estimates on a platform built for BC civil work.

Your past projects become a cost database in about a month, every rate checked with you. New estimates price from what you actually paid. The built-in AI asks what you missed before the tender closes.

The data asks you

SYN-002 carried no 450 mm main. If this estimate has one, the three other records are the basis. Confirm?

If your estimating looks like this…

  • Estimate spreadsheets from five contracts ago
  • Unit rates copied from the last similar contract
  • Supplier quotes buried in email threads
  • PDFs scattered across a shared drive
  • And whatever the senior estimator remembers

No wonder estimates take days and scope gets missed.

Every line nobody priced comes out of your margin.

Contractors and corporations

Replace scattered spreadsheets with one estimating platform.

Everpeak is set up around your company. Your past projects become the rates behind every new estimate. The AI is part of the engine, not an add-on.

Turn past projects into a cost database

Our pipeline maps your old estimates and final costs into MMCD items. AI covers what it cannot map. A person checks anything flagged, then we review the rates with you. About a month, so every rate is right before you price from it.

Build reliable estimates faster

Pick comparable projects. The rates fill in from what you actually paid, at today's prices. Metric and CAD, with the source one click away.

Catch what your estimate missed

The AI compares the new estimate with your past projects and lists what might be missing. You answer each question. The answer is saved with the estimate.

How BC estimators use Everpeak

Your cost history, your estimates and the built-in AI in one system. The first two steps are on us.

  1. We take your projects

Send us your past estimates and final costs in whatever shape they are in. Spreadsheets, PDFs and exports from HeavyBid, B2W or Excel all work.

  2. We ingest them

Our pipeline maps every line into MMCD items. AI covers the rest and flags what it is unsure of. A person handles the flagged lines. Two weeks to ingest, then two weeks reviewing the rates with you.

  3. You create a new estimate

Enter the scope and quantities from the tender. Pick the comparable projects, or let the engine suggest them.

  4. The engine builds on it and asks

Rates fill in from what you actually paid. Our proprietary AI engine checks the estimate against your past projects and lists what might be missing. Every answer is recorded.

Onboarding

Your cost database in about a month.

Two weeks to ingest your files, then two weeks reviewing the rates with your estimator. We take the time because a rate you price from has to be right. Our pipeline does most of the work. AI covers what the pipeline cannot map. A person handles whatever the AI flags as risky. Nothing is priced from a line nobody has checked.

Your history is in HeavyBid, B2W, Excel or a folder of PDFs. It comes across as it is: HeavyBid through your own HCSS account or an export file, the rest as exports or the files themselves.

Handover to first estimateTarget

Weeks 1 and 2

You send your files. Our pipeline maps every line it recognises into MMCD items. AI classifies the rest and flags anything it is unsure of. Our team ingests every flagged line by hand.

Weeks 3 and 4

We review the mapping and the rates with your estimator before anything is priced from them. Each rate is brought to today's prices.

Around day 30

Your first estimate, priced from your own projects, on a real tender.

HeavyBid import is in development.

Your codes, mapped once

Each of your codes is mapped onto an MMCD item the first time it appears. You confirm it, and from then on it is automatic. Imperial quantities are converted once and the source unit stays on the record.

Invented codes. The mapping is shown to your estimator before anything is priced from it.

Every rate, traced

Unit rate is the total divided by the quantity. The factor is the cost index at the year you pick over the index at the record's year. Both sit beside every rate, and a project that never carried the item is excluded, not counted as zero.

Unit rate = total ÷ quantity. Factor = BC construction cost index at 2026/27 ÷ index at the record's year.

Built-in AI

Questions run both ways. Every answer is kept.

You ask the data

A chatbot on your own projects. Ask about a rate or a source in plain language. Answers come only from your data and show where they came from.

  • What did we pay for 1050 mm manholes over 3 m deep?
  • Which contracts hit rock, and what did it add per cubic metre?
  • Which contracts had an asphalt price adjustment, and how much did it move?

The data asks you

As you build an estimate, the engine lists what your past projects carried that this one does not. You add a line, mark it covered, or mark it not applicable.

  • Site condition: within 50 m of a watercourse; none of the comparables were. Dewatering priced?
  • Depth: average 2.4 m, close to the shallow manhole limit. Any in the deep bracket?

What the other tools leave out.

The big estimating suites were built in the United States for US work. This is what a BC estimator runs into, and what we did about it.

US estimating suites and spreadsheets

  • Imperial units and DOT pay items, with a conversion setting for Canada.
  • US dollars first. GST and PST are something you add afterwards.
  • Rates copied from the last similar contract, at that year's prices.
  • Data hosted wherever the vendor is.
  • Nothing asks what you forgot.

Everpeak

  • MMCD and BC MoTT items, metric, from the first screen.
  • CAD, with GST and PST handled the way BC does it.
  • Every rate checked before you price from it: pipeline, then AI, then a person, then your estimator.
  • Rates from what you actually paid, brought to today's prices, source shown.
  • A chatbot on your data, and a list of the questions you had not thought to ask.

For corporations that build a lot

Your cost data, in one place, for every team that prices work.

If your company runs its own estimating, the problem is rarely one estimate. It is that the cost data sits in different files, in different formats, owned by whoever built the last one. Everpeak gives it one home.

Structured

Every project's estimates and final costs in one schema, in MMCD items. A rate from 2019 and a rate from 2025 sit side by side, both at today's prices.

Governed

Who can see what is set per project. Every change is recorded with who made it and when. Export everything, any time.

Shared

Estimators, project managers and finance price from the same data. The chatbot answers from it too, so the question "what did we pay last time" has one answer.

Your projects stay yours.

Your estimates only

Your projects build your estimates and nothing else.

Never your name or prices

Anything published is aggregated, with nothing that points back to you.

Context stays private

Ground, access, why a contract was lost: in your account only.

Export or delete

Ask and you get everything back, or gone.
